About Dr. Elliot Lander

The Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Center of the Desert is based on a model founded and directed by David L. Matlock, M.D, M.B.A, FACOG. Dr. Matlock has pioneered and developed laser vaginal rejuvenationand designed laser vaginoplasty. He has personally trained Dr. Lander to use his unique trademarked laser techniques.

Elliot B. Lander, M.D.F.A.C.S.

Dr. Lander is a Board-Certified Surgeon. He was born in Los Angeles, California. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Occidental College with Distinction in Biochemistry. He attended medical school at the University of California, Irvine. For six years after medical school, Dr. Lander studied General Surgery and then Urologic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. He was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at the same institution while in practice at a large HMO in Orange County for five years. During that time he was active in teaching residents and doing research. He has many publications in the urologic literature. Dr. Lander has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been practicing full time in the Coachella Valley since 1997 , and he has served as Chief of Urology at Eisenhower Medical Center and Chief of Surgery at John F. Kennedy Hospital. Dr Lander has specialized in advanced pelvic floor reconstruction surgery and has performed more than 4000 pelvic floor surgeries. He was a pioneer in the use of lasers in genitourinary surgery since the 1980's.
